Chris "Rooster" Vance - Director of Operations
I am director of operations at Rigg Shop in Auburn WA. I have been working on boats for 12+ years but i have been around boats all my life. I grew up in south Florida around my grandparents shop "Layson Marine". I moved to Washington in 1991 and went to work for Olympic boats for seven years as in rigging as a Closed Cooling System Specialist. I went to work for Day Island Boat Works in 2005 where i did a little of everything, my main area of expertise is in electroinc and component installation. I am working on obtaining my MEI, CMET, MECP, and ABYC certifications, in hopes of expanding our services further. View our installs page to see examples of our work.
